Next weekend, ShootMania Storm returns to Texas to participate in QuakeCon, the largest free LAN party in the world. Attendees will have the chance to compete in several ShootMania Elite and TrackMania² Valley Tournaments throughout the weekend, with prizes that include ShootMania Swag, Plantronics Gaming Gear, and the right to compete for a the North American spot at ESWC [more details below].

Salt Lake Comic Con and GEEX have joined forces for a one stop event with the best in Gaming, Comics, TV, Movies, Technology and Pop Culture – and we’re excited to take part as well. Once again, ShootMania and TrackMania² will be there live at the event, showcasing the game and offering a chance for attendees to play their favorite ManiaPlanet titles and win some awesome ManiaPlanet swag.

In edition to those events, Nadeo will be sending one North American team, travel expenses included, to the Electronic Sports World Cup in Paris, France during the Paris Games Week. There will be a special tournament in the upcoming months were pre-qualifying teams will have the chance to compete for the coveted spot, to ensure that the best North American ShootMania players earn the right to compete. Details are still being finalized, so stay tuned for more information how your ShootMania team can win a trip to Paris to play against the world’s finest ShootMania players.

Welcome to the country-style environment with Valley where you’ll be able to drive in a beautiful European landscape with birds flying near the roads!

With Valley you’ll find a driving-style between arcade and simulation where the speed can be your enemy. Much skill will be needed to be in the highest ranks of the ladder!

Of course Valley comes with many features like:

  • A new rally-style handling

  • A new 65-tracks solo campaign

  • A brand new set of blocks dedicated to this environment and including for the first time in the TrackMania² history dynamic objects like a “bird road block” and the “windmill block”.

You will also have access to many tools like the map editor, a replay editor, the possibility to import 3D objects, and create custom gamemodes for example.

After years of development, TrackMania² Valley is almost ready, and will join the ManiaPlanet family on July 4th on TrackMania.com and Steam. Yes, in only one short week!

TrackMania² Valley will introduce a new rally-style handling, along with a 65-tracks solo campaign, a new set of blocks and all the power of ManiaPlanet (3D objects import, gamemodes creation, etc.)

Very soon you will be able to ride in the green lands of this beautiful environment.

After a sucessful and very fun Open Beta phase, it is time today to release TrackMania² Stadium!

This new version of the Stadium environment comes to ManiaPlanet with several improvements:

  • a new engine which features a better graphics and a better light engine

  • a brand new solo campaign made of 65 tracks

  • 20 new blocks

  • the ability to import 3D objects (like blocks),

  • The ability to create new gamemodes thanks to the powerful ManiaScript

  • An improved map editor and replay editor

Today, we’re releasing a small summary of what happened during the ManiaGala event at Gamers Assembly. Gamers Assembly took place on March 30th to April 1st, at the Palais des Congrès of the Futuroscope in Poitiers, France. This year, a part of the Gamers Assembly was decked out in the ManiaPlanet colors.

Stream your games with Twitch.tv!

Hi all!

Streamers will be over the moon. Twitch.TV is now fully integrated in Maniaplanet, allowing ShootMania and TrackMania² to stream your games and competitions directly on Twitch.tv really easily.new-twitchtv-logo

You can also for example share directly in live with the others players from the world the game modes that you like and explain them while playing at the same time. Endless possibilities opens for you with this feature!

TrackMania² Stadium enters Open Beta!

Hi everyone

Many of you have been eagerly awaiting this moment ever since we announced the comeback of Stadium at the Paris Games Week a few month ago, and now the time has come: today, TrackMania² Stadium enters Open Beta !Stadium - Open BetaThis new Stadium not only comes with a whole new solo campaign and new blocks, but it is now fully integrated into ManiaPlanet, allowing it to benefit from many new tools such as Title Pack creation, custom game modes, 3D object import, all the ManiaPlanet services (Team Manager, Competition Manager, ManiaLink, ManiaPub, etc.), not to forget the new lighting engine, and much more.

Just like for the ShootMania Storm Open Beta, free Open Beta accounts don’t gain any Planets while playing Stadium, their custom car skins aren’t shared on servers, and they do not get the official replays on the 15 tracks currently available in the solo campaign.

To get rid of these limitations, you can pre-order TrackMania² Stadium right away on the shop page and benefit from the 10% discount. By pre-ordering the game, you’ll automatically unlock the official replays for the solo campaign, along with getting rid of any other limitations. The total number of tracks in solo campaign will be 65 at release.

To jump into the Open Beta without waiting, you can download the client here and just log in with your ManiaPlanet account.
